Burning Flower 2023

The FHS Girls Lacrosse program is one of the fastest growing team sports at the high school level. Come join our team!

Friendswood High School Girls Lacrosse is a non-UIL sport that provides a fun and competitive lacrosse playing atmosphere for Friendswood High School girls in 9th through 12th grade.  We are a Division III team playing in the Texas Girls High School Lacrosse League (TGHSLL) South District.  The team is open to all female Friendswood High School students. Phyiscal education (PE) credit is available to those who meet the specific FISD participation requirements.

At this time, the team consists of a varsity team.

Our fall season typically begins in September and runs through December with practice two evenings per week.  The fall season is generally considered the “off season” with the team participating in one beginning of season tournament in early December.

Our spring season typically begins in January and runs through early May.  The team participates in the Aggieland Classic tournament in College Station, Texas, at the end of January, as a start to the competitve season.  We aim to play in anywhere from 12 to 15 games during the regular season with 9 games being considered “district” games. District playoffs are usually at the end of April or in early May. Games are played during the week and on the weekend during the season. Practices are usually held one to two times a week once game play starts.

In the 2022-2023 season our FHS Girls Lacrosse Team made it all the way to State!
